    Hi.. first both vehicle engines should be switched off. After connecting the jumper/ booster cables ti the respective battery terminals, the vehicle that needs the boost should be started. If the power is insufficient then you may charged by starting the donor vehicle after switching off the engine. Keep it running for about 5 - 10 mts. Then switch off the donor engine and try starting the other vehicle engine which needs the boost. Once its successful carefully remove the cables one at a time. At all times see that the cables or its connectors don't touch each other.
